Programmes
At the present time IMISP offers a complete cycle of education programmes:
- 1 higher educational programmes;
- 1 MBA programmes;
- 2 executive education programmes;
- 3 corporate programmes.
The Higher education (BBA) - a four year course of higher education leading to the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), developed in 1993-94 with the assistance of a number Western business schools. From semester 6 the main disciplines in the curriculum (Marketing, Strategy, Organizational Behaviour and others) are taught in English. Particular attention is paid to the study of foreign languages. By the end of their course students are capable of taking the Cambridge Business English Certificate 2 or 3 and also acquire active communications skills in French.
IMISP produces 25-30 BBA graduates each year.
MBA programmes - the part-time IMISP MBA programme was developed in 1993-1995 by the institute's leading lecturers in collaboration with colleagues from the best European business schools. The EQUAL classification system allocates the IMISP MBA to type C: not involving narrow specialization (generalist), aimed at professionals aged 22-35 with considerable experience of working in management posts.
Apart from the part-time MBA programmes, IMISP has also developed MBA programmes for corporate clients.
Executive education programmes - the range of executive education programmes offered at IMISP comprises 24 programmes for senior and middle managers of Russian and Western companies. The programmes are created for the "open market" taking into account IMISP's established image as a business school offering broad balanced courses in the sphere of management, marketing, finance and languages (Business English).
Corporate programmes - the corporate programmes effectively combine the specific requirements of the client company with the original methods of teaching created by the institute over its years of work on the corporate business education market. The history of this field of activity goes back to 1991 and a joint seminar for the senior management of Gazprom and the major foreign gas-producer British Gas, as well as a number of joint training programmes for regional managers of Gazprom and the German company Wintershall AG.
